What do we need from you
We need your help in finding a suitable name for the CubeSat under the MiniSat Competition. The Cubesat is being developed by a group of students from Khalifa University and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). What makes this project unique is the following: for the first time, a group of Bahraini students are working long sided the Emirati students to develop their first ever Cubesat. Therefore we are currently looking for a name that represents the close relationship between UAE and Bahrain.

More information about the science of the mission:
The scientific mission of this Cubesat is to collect real-time data of terrestrial gamma ray flashes from earth’s atmosphere using a gamma-ray detector, which will be developed by the students at the university. Such a system will not only be a step towards developing space technology in the UAE, but also a step towards miniaturizing and space-qualifying particle detectors in the field of experimental physics in general, combining knowledge derived from the fields of physics, engineering, mathematics, and computer science.
